DIY SOS, led by Nick Knowles, is known for transforming homes for families in need. The Freckleton project centres on the Flemen family and their son, Dan, who has faced severe health challenges since 2022. Due to his care needs, the family has been living apart for more than two years.
The DIY SOS team has stepped in to adapt the family home—making it wheelchair-accessible and suitable for long-term specialist care. A new pitched roofing system was essential, and that’s where Russell Roof Tiles and North West Roofing Supplies were able to help.
